I have never been in trouble. I am a mother with two children, one with special needs, an African-American woman, college educated, and I volunteer in my community. I had a nervous breakdown after a banking legal issue that began with a preacher/contractor who stole from us and did not complete our house. During my nervous breakdown, a lot happened on the night of 4-29-22; I was beaten by the police and then taken to jail instead of a hospital. Once I got out of jail, I learned that the police and CPS had lied on the Affidavit of Removal, allowing my children to be in the system for months. My investigation led me to several revelations about CPS and CASA. Ironically, I used to be a CASA, as I had often communicated with CPS regarding past cases I worked on. That experience let me know that something was incredibly wrong with how they were handling my "personal" case. My fight continues in the civil legal system. I am writing a book explaining my experience with CPS, CASA, the police, and more. Through this storm, I found my purpose in helping families who are victims of CPS and those who support them with injustice. Not all CPS, CASA, police, etc., are evil, but someone has to stand up for families and justice. I do not believe that God makes mistakes, and if you are innocent like I am, I will lean on God’s strength and do all I can to deliver you out of this storm to victory. Together we will rejoice as each one teaches and help another family.
